April 2, 2021 – Los Angeles, CA – The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is pleased to announce Saints Football Club as its newest expansion club ahead of the Spring Season.

Based in Nashville, TN, Saints FC will begin UPSL play in the Mid-South Conference Expedition Division. The club will host its home games at Richard Siegel Soccer Complex (515 Cherry Lane Dr., Murfreesboro, TN, 37129).

Baher Salib is the General Manager and Head Coach of Saints Football Club. The club will compete exclusively in the UPSL. 

UPSL Mid-South Conference Manager Doug Kranz said, "We are excited to have Saints FC join the Expedition Division. Baher Salib's club is growing quickly and the next step was to organize itself as a member of a national league. The UPSL's Mid-South Conference is the perfect home for a strong club like Saints FC. We wish them well as they get set to make their UPSL debut."

Founded in 2015, Saints FC was created as a training academy and has previously traveled to participate in lucrative tournaments in Florida.

"We were planning to make the move to the UPSL before COVID slowed everything down, but we're glad to be able to bring the team into the UPSL now because we have a good team and the players are ready to go," Salib said. "We have a quality group of players that want to take on the challenge of playing at a higher level, and I'm ready to take on the responsibility as the leader of this group. This is a strong group and we will use this season's experience to create a strong foundation for the club in the UPSL."

The club plays Music City Soccer Club at Ezell Park Soccer Fields (3299 Ezell Rd, Nashville, TN 37211) at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday.

Founded in 2015, Saints FC can participate in the qualifying rounds for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup through their affiliation and membership with the UPSL, the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
