November 27, 2020 – Los Angeles, CA – Ginga Atlanta forward Deon McCaulay have been selected UPSL National Players of the Week.

A native of Belize, McCaulay scored three goals in a 6-0 victory in a UPSL 2020 Fall Season Georgia Division I game on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020. McCaulay played 90 minutes as Ginga Atlanta (13-0-0 overall) kept its unbeaten season intact.

Currently, McCaulay has scored three goals apiece in three consecutive games and now has 20 goals this season. The Belize Men's National Team's all-time leading scorer with 17 goals in 50 career games, McCaulay participated in qualification for the 2010, 2014 and 2018 World Cups and was the worldwide top goal scorer in 2014 with 11, tying Luis Suarez (Argentina) and Robin Van Persie (Netherlands).

He previously played with Atlanta Silverbacks (NASL) and Georgia Revolution FC (NPSL).

The UPSL National Player of the Week is selected each week of the regular season by members of the league and journalists covering the UPSL, and decided by the fans via Twitter poll.
