October 9, 2020 – Los Angeles, CA – The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is pleased to announce DCSC Pathfinders as a new member.

Based in Helendale, CA, DCSC Pathfinders will begin UPSL play with the 2021 Spring Season as part of the Western Conference SoCal Division. The club will host its UPSL home games at Brewster Park (21024 Otoe Rd, Apple Valley, CA 92307).

UPSL Western Conference Manager Gary Brunner said, "We are excited to welcome DCSC Pathfinders to the SoCal DIvision. The Inland Empire is a hotbed of soccer talent and clubs are growing strong in the area. As with so many other clubs in the Inland Empire, they've committed to the UPSL as part of that growth. We wish them success in their preparations for the season ahead."

DCSC Pathfinders is operated by Desert Communities Soccer Club. German Carvallo currently serves as Director. Steven Lopez is Assistant Director. Josh Blodgett is Director of Coaches.

"DCSC Pathfinders was created as a logical progression initiative to complement our youth side. DCSC is one of the only youth clubs in Southern California that has zero overhead club fees and our club does not permit coaches to charge. We are passionate about revolutionizing the game in the United States and see it as our mission to give all players in the U.S. a chance at college and professional success, not just those who can afford it.," Carvallo said. "We have developed a pathway for local players and coaches to progress through the ranks and get as far as they desire, with our club's support, guidance, and education. We joined the UPSL because we want to provide them a platform to showcase their talent, while generating an organic form of support from younger players who will be in their shoes within a few years."
