September 22, 2020 – Los Angeles – The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is pleased to award FK Orlando's Stephen McGinn with the 2020 Spring UPSL Golden Boot award.

McGinn led all UPSL Spring Season players with 13 goals for FK Orlando (6-1-3 overall), which advanced to the semifinals of the UPSL Florida Central Division playoffs.

FK Orlando Head Coach Orian Burzic said, "Throughout the season Stephen set the standard for our team in terms of quality, desire and commitment. A true leader on the pitch and a better man off of it, Stephen is a quality individual and an unbelievably gifted player. All credit to him on this outstanding achievement."

McGinn was one of only four players league-wide to score more than 10 goals, a milestone he and only one other player (Foro SC's Miles Byass) reached during the regular season.

"I think it shows the style of soccer we like to play, which is attacking and free flowing," McGinn said. "It's a testament to our squad that we're able to create so many opportunities for our attacking players to be able to get on the scoresheet so regulary. Of course, personally it's always nice to be rewarded but it truly is a team effort."

FK Orlando had one of the most consistent offenses during the UPSL's Spring Season, averaging 2.7 goals per game.
