UPSL NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Roc City Booms Peter DiLorenzo

August 6, 2020 – Los Angeles, CA – Roc City Boom forwward Pete DiLorenzo has been selected UPSL National Player of the Week.

A native of Hicksville, NY, DiLorenzo scored two goals and added an assists in a UPSL 2020 Spring Season Northeast Conference Western N.Y. Division game on Sunday, August 2, 2020. DiLorenzo played 90 minutes for Roc City Boom (2-2-1 overall) in the win.

DiLorenzo won the 2011  New York State championship at Hicksville High School and was selected New York State Most Valuable Player. A graduate of SUNY Brockport in Brockport, NY, DiLorenzo finished second in school history with 41 goals.

The UPSL National Player of the Week is selected each week of the regular season by members of the league and journalists covering the UPSL, and decided by the fans via Twitter poll.
