May 22, 2020 – Los Angeles – The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is pleased to announce the addition of Quantis Lane as the new UPSL Gulf Coast Conference Manager.

A native of Gulfport, MS, Lane is the owner of Lane Advisory, which provides strategic information and services to a variety of professional soccer clubs.

United Premier Soccer League Vice President Christian Vallejos said, "The goal has always been for the UPSL to grow into to the Gulf region, and the UPSL is excited to add Quantis Lane as its new Gulf Coast Conference Manager. Quantis is ambitious, hard-working, well-credentialed, and knows the landscape very well. He grew up there, played soccer there, went to college there, and his insight into the Gulf Coast market is going to enhance the abilities of the UPSL to better serve league members."

Lane, 23, will focus on developing the UPSL's tier structure in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and the Florida panhandle, leading the way for further league expansion to the UPSL's Women's and Youth Premier Divisions.

"We want to create a progressive vision for the Gulf Coast Conference. I'm native to this region and as everyone knows, there's the old way of doing things and there's the new way of doing things. This conference will be doing things in a progressive way," UPSL Gulf Coast Conference Manager Quantis Lane said.

Lane holds a BA in Law from Southern Miss University, and was a talented youth player with an offer to play professionally in Ukraine before choosing to focus on academics. He previously served as President of the Southern Miss University Soccer Club. 

"We know that the Gulf Coast has a special relationship with soccer and it's definitely the sport gaining the most attention from millenials. It's by far the most-watched sport across younger demographics, so it's exciting to be able to facilitate the opportunity for grassroots soccer programs to grow and give them the UPSL's national league exposure with a spotlight," Lane said.

Presently, Lane Advisory is under contract with Wakefield AFC (England) and LR Vicenza Virtus (Italy), among others.

"My goal is to have every facet of the UPSL – the men's promotion/relegation structure, the women's division and the youth premier division – in the Gulf Coast Conference. We're going to make the most of this opportunity because this is the first time an option like this has been presented for grassroots programs in my home region," Lane said.

Lane also serves as CFO of ProLinked, a burgeoning social media-based company owned by former Green Bay Packers (NFL) player Donte Savage.

United Premier Soccer League

The UPSL was formed in 2011 and currently includes more than 300 teams nationwide. The UPSL is the largest Pro Development League in North America. Each UPSL team is individually owned and operated.

UPSL teams are eligible to participate in the U.S. Open Cup Qualifying Rounds through the league's affiliation with the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
